Dr. M. Prem Kumar had done his M.B.B.S from Govt. Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College(GMKMC) and MD (DVL) from Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute, Chennai Medical council registration number – 110866. Dr.Prem Kumar is working as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute. Dr.Prem Kumar is a Trained Dermatosurgeon and did a fellowship course from the reputed Stanley medical college, Chennai under the well known Late.Prof.G.R.Ratnavel.

He is specialized in hair transplant surgery and dermatosurgery. He is very much experienced in handling the Nd:YAG , Diode, Q – Switched Nd:YAG, CO2, Erbium YAG lasers and IPL devices. He is an expert in radiofrequency surgeries, acne scar & vitiligo surgeries. He has published articles and research studies in journals and his research work of Copper peptides in acne scars has won the Second prize in the International conference and that research was the first to be conducted in India. His fields of interest are dermatosurgery, hair transplantation and lasers. He is a member of the following associations:

HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS TILL DATE:

• Done/Assisted in 46 hair transplants till date.
• Done nearly 600 chemical peeling in Stanley medical college and nearly 350 in my own practise, a total of 950 chemical peels.
• Done 28 vitiligo surgeries- punch grafting/split skin grafting.
• Done nearly 1500 PRP procedure for conditions of hair growth, skin rejuvenation and dermatological diseases.
• I own nearly all lasers(acne scars, weight loss-CRYOLIPOLYSIS, wrinkle removal, tattoo removal, serum delivery) and machines 5 which are needed for the dermatological and cosmetology practise in day to day life.
• Administered injections for skin whitening, weight loss and almost every client has respond.
• Done nearly 2000 cases of skin tag/wart removal.
